Saucy's Profile

I have recently taken up photographing wildlife, usually birds, in my garden due to illness.

I wait hours, usually miss the shot, get frustrated, wonder why I bother, end up drinking cold coffee whilst feeding the dogs my cake, end up with a multitude of out of focus shots only to get one in focus shot of half a bird. Then run around thinking I`m some sort of David Bailey whilst the rest of the motley crew try to show enthusiasm at my in focus photograph.

Perhaps I really should read the instruction book that came with the camera. :0)

I`m married with 2 grown up children and 3 dogs. I live in a semi rural area am amazed at the amount of wildlife about.

My best wild life experience was going to work in 1999 at 6:50 a.m.. as I was walking for my lift a vixen was running home and ran into my leg. She actually ran into my knee at the side. I looked down at her and she looked up at me. We both looked at each other. I put my hand down and placed it on the top of her head, she then lifted it up and as she set off again my fingers ran through her coat from head to tip of tail. It was damp, as was the morning but most soft. It was one of those moments that I`ll never forget and I know they`ve had alot of bad press recently but it was a magical moment in time.
