55 year old single Dad with 2 teenage daughters (HELP !). Been keen on birds since I was 4, when I locked my Grandad in his aviary and stood outside laughing (until a neighbour heard his cries and released him !).
I don't 'Twitch', I just birdwatch, getting as much pleasure from my garden birds as I do from anything interesting that turns up wherever I may be.
Originally from London, I now live on the NW coast in Southport - Marshside and Martin Mere being my favourite local birdwatching haunts.
