Flights of another kind

A few more macro shots and these are either taken hand held, or by using a monopod. As you may realise photographing with digital is ideal as you may only get one good photo out of three or four tries between balancing, getting my breathing right and the menace of a breeze before I press down on the shutter button.

I apologise if I’m teaching to the converted but reading some of the comments it would appear that some of you have just taken up photography, though you wouldn’t think that by your photographs.

Thanks guys, wasn't too sure how they would go down, not being birds but the discipline involved helps me keep up my photographic skills waiting for the birds to come back along the coast in the spring-time.
