Alas no Sea Eagle,s ........but I did see a .....Mermaid!!!!!

By

I am just recently back from a wonderful holiday to the Highland,s and Islands of Scotland, the highlight of the trip was a trip to Mull to see the Sea Eagles ,but the day of our trip to the island I think the eagles had made plan,s to be out of town …..spent hour,s waiting ,but nothing …..but hey hoy thats life ….. next time maybe .

Mull from the sea….

A few little boats seen on our way to Mull

The little bridge over the Atlantic, this bridge connect,s the mainland to Seil Island

This is a salmon farm, birds, and seals wait for dinner ,but I dont think they would every get a bite of these poor salmon , I found this really cruel ,thousand,s of the poor fish jumping up trying to escape over the nets …

Seals basking in the warm sun

Cattle cooling themself,s by the waterside

Greylags you really cant go anywhere but you see these birds …they did have a large brood of gosslings with them but are out of view on this photo

Still got hundreds of other photos ,but I wont bore you all

……oh nearly forgot the Mermaid

okay….okay she landlocked on the M80 and 33 feet high ,but she,s still a mermaid . Hope you enjoyed a few of my holiday snaps …..

Beautiful place to visit. My mom went every year - she loved it so.

I`m sure you`ll have a fabulous time next year and loads new to photo.

I can just see those eagles espying you as you were searching for them playing some sort of hide and seek.

So glad you had a great break, folks! Sorry that the Sea Eagles did not appear for you :-(. Love the land-locked "Mermaid", though, and have, in my mind, nick-named her "Miss Hoolie". :-)))

Despite the huge size not always easy to see one, and you are not the first to go and come home missing them. If you do go again drop me a line and I can maybe rustle up a few stake-outs other than the usual ones ;) regards Dave.
