More Common Seals

By

“Good evening, Seal. Been another fine day, hasn’t it?”

“Oh, it’s you, back again for more pics. See you’ve brought your own scrawny pups this time.”

“Take all the pics you like, don’t interrupt me tannin’ sess – then, Naff Off!.”

“Well, that’s charming, we’re sure! Think we’ll just go right now.”

“Oy, you lot down there! ’ang about a mo! No need to get hot under the barnacles. Down in a tick (or 10).”

“Is this more to yer liking, eh? Me and my pup, up close and as personal as it’s gonna get….”

“Come along now, Pup, time to go. Come NOW, or else you’ll be grounded!! Are you lot satisfied, eh? Well, b***** off, then, and leave us in peace.”

“Very nice, Mrs Seal. No need for that attitude, however, even if you are “common”! Wonder what the others watching thought of this?"

Seriously, however, I was so glad that the mother and pup came down to the edge of the tide to "show off", especially as I had my own children with me on this occasion. It was amazing for us all to watch. I was glad, too, to see a group of eider sitting on the next big rock outcrop. :-) No more seal pics this summer, though, I promise! :-)

Wonderful blog David. As far as I'm concerned, you can post as many seal pics as you like....I never tire of seeing them.

Glad you liked this, folks. Didn't just want to post several seal pics, and came up with this. Must admit, though, to worrying about "casting" such wonderful mammals in such a human vein.

The "Idas" did really well, too! :-))
