My Wren

By

I’m no photographer and I only have a Sony cybershot 5.0mega pixel camera, but I’m quite proud of these.

Neither the male or female are bothered about me being around.

You have every right to be proud of these amazing pics. Great to see a birdbox being used by wrens, for a change. :-))

`Wow these are great pics Elless, this little bird looks so
grateful to you, the 2nd pic, looks as though the little Wren
is thanking you, with a big smile LOL Would not like anything to happen to this little bird...

Lovely series of pics and very good quality certainly the second pic captures the character of these birds so well.

Usually quite secretive birds not seen many happy to use a nest box .. so obviously found somewhere safe and secure.

These are brilliant pictures Elless. I would be delighted with these too, I have a wren in the garden but not often seen and I've never managed to get any sort of photo so well done!

Thankyou all, I'm so glad you liked the photos. I was amazed at how bold these 2 wrens were. At first, if I was too close to the box when they arrived with food they would perch about 6ft away and 'shout' until I moved away, but after a few days they didn't seem to mind me being around at all.
