Hover Flies

Last summer during July and August my attention was drawn to the world of hover flies.It started in our little back yard as I was trying out my 500mm lens where I got my first shot on one of my wifes Tiger Flowers.Most on this blog I took at Baffins pond.

These are excellent Eric and shows that you do not even want a Macro lens "if" you do not want Macro shots. Thes close ups are great.
