POLARISER - and Greylag Goose

By

I recently went to a 19th century hall known as Dunham Massey. There was an Greylag goose on the lake which made a nice picture but the sun was so bright each time he ducked his head all there was left to see was his body and the glow off the water.
So I put on my polariser as the water seemed so clear really.

Great shots Mike.I have a polarizing lens, but each time I use it the picture seems to be blurred. Can't seem to get a sharp focus with it.
Did you use it with a uv filter or not?

I always use a UV filter Rob - are you sure you have the right type of polariser. You want circular not Linear. Also go to spot focus.

Haven't used my polarizing filter for years. I think you've just made my mind up to dig it out next time I'm out and about. Super shots. Agree about No.2. It would have been a fun shot without the filter too.
