Marshside and Avocets.

Remember I told you that Mark (Muddy) had spent time with Alan and I at Martin Mere and then he moved on to “Marshside”. I also put up a quick pic of an Avocet from there when I visited yesterday. Here are a few more
Question – on the last one there are two birds but their markings are different – are they male = female or different birds? Thanks

Re your question,do you think it's the way the wing is folded on the right one ? It looks to have some white feathers laying over the black. This is more noticeable on the photo above the last one.
