In the garden today.

Two views of a male House Sparrow that turned up this morning. He’s the first of the year. I usually get several in the garden when they are bringing up their young. I think they nest in the eaves of an old building nearby.

…..and what a beautiful day it is!

Great that you have them nesting nearby Dave. We have many visit which nest in "flats " in the church eaves next door. Two beautiful images of this once common little bird....
