Bit geeky but ….

I captured this Teal @ Rye Meads RSPB on 2011-03-24 and was tarting it up (subtely?) ready to upload.

I was checking the eye for a catchlight and zoomed in quite close and found a number of starbursts. First time I’ve noticed this since getting my Sigma 150-500 lens. Probably the first time I’ve had enough light to stop down far enough to get a diaphragm star. Quite normal and can occur with most lenses, particularly longer zooms.
