my photos are either from bird hides, through my window or sitting in the car with the window down.....but then its only certain areas where the birds are used to being fed......keep trying and share your photos....would love to see them

Casso I just have more patience than most birds. I can sit and wait longer than they can go without food.

Hi Casso,
Your back garden and local nature reserves are great places to get photos. I've taken photos of Whooper Swans, wildfowl and waders, sometimes as close as 10ft away, from inside a hide at my local nature reserve.
Keep trying.

Focus Magic trial is free for 10 pictures. After that it's $45. I tried it about 8 months ago and decided to practice catching the photos in focus instead - it's free and more satisfying.

Being in the right place at the right time helps!! I generally walk around the lakes and woods by me,if I see or hear birds,I tend to find a place to wait...and soon enough the birds will come........AND SNAP away we go!!!!Don't think all pictures are going to turn out,I have many many pictures not make my stored files...more than the ones that make ISAB,believe me!! Keep experimenting casso its the only way...and enjoy the freedom of being out and about taking photos...All the best!!
