Unfortunately a lot of them have succumbed to the disease which affects pigeons (trichomonosis). Have a look at my blogs and read the one dated 21st Aug 2010 'Pigeon disease and greenfinches',we had a discussion about it there :) You can comment on that blog if you wish to.

We have about 4 greenfiches and the other day counted 24 Goldfinches ! Glad we have the 4 greenfinches as a lot died during the autumn. Very sad to see.
We have seen 23 different varieties of birds in the garden this week. A real cafe in our garden !!
