Day out at Alrewas Memorial

Just a quick note,to thank everyone for their comments on the photos’ I posted. It was a good morning out with Alan, who’s idea it was to take the photos and post them for I.D.!!
Did not think they would get so much response. It’s nice to know
you all have a good sense of humour, and don’t take bird photography as serious as some of my “friends” do!!
Always a pleasure to post to this fabulous site!!
Keep up the good work, and you all have a very merry christmas, and a very happy snappy New year!!!!!
(just a reminder of the old wader I spotted!!!!)

Thanks for being a good sport Alan….I know you will get your own back one day!!! lol

Indeed a rare spot Rob .. a winter visitor or a resident wader ? Appears to be in winter plumage wonder what he could be stalking ?

The headwear looks familiar reminds me of the gopher calling ..Alan .. Alan ..Alannnn...

Definately a winter visitor...stalking his prey, a rock fish more likely!
