sometimes helping an animal/bird brings great reward.

Just reading the last two blogs about helping and caring for animals etc. I thought I would share what resulted in our case.
We were driving past a piece of waste ground that had a couple of horses tethered( hate this at the best of time) One of the ponies had the rope twisted around its neck.I stopped the car and asked hubby to go and help it.He refused at first but after a little coaxing went off toward the pony.(I had parked on no stopping sign so had police pull up behind me) Just as he got hold of the halter(if thats what it was) the policewoman approached as well and this spooked the pony which whipped the rope catching hubby sweeping him up and over……banging his head but worse was the rope had badly bruised his leg and he could hardly walk for a week.
How could this have an even brighter outcome……..when visiting doc for the bruising he told him couldnt do anything for the bruising but while he was there was there anything else. My husband mentioned a problem he’d had for a while but hadn’t bother visiting for……the result of tests was prostate cancer and thankfully it was caught early and things looking good after radiotherapy .
So we were paid back a hundred fold for that gesture.
