Taking Toil

Having arrived at work to find there was very little for me to do, which is very unusual, I decided to grab a few hours toil back, So I packed the camera in my car and headed off for Carsington Waters (R.S.P.B). It was a beautiful sunny day and I had a good five hours to wonder around and play with my new lens. I thought I would like to share it with you. It is a beautiful place an 8.5 mile walk around the lake, if your feeling fit, with four hides along its waters edge. Though most of the waterfowl on this day were way out on the lake, out of reach of even my new lens.

Certainly much better than sitting in my stuffy office!!!

Great blog Alan...what a great way to while away a few hours or more ! Dont you find at places like this that the time flies so quickly ? In fact..tend to lose track altogether ! I love the cloud formations in the last photo. Thank you for sharing your walk.
